High School:

I attended Methacton High School in Norristown, PA, from 1999-2003, where I was a member of the marching band and first discovered I wanted to become a teacher.

College:

I went to Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA from 2003-2007. I majored in Biology and minored in Secondary Education, which was how I earned my teaching certification.

Graduate School:

While I've only just started, I'm taking online classes through Wilkes University. I'm majoring in Instructional Media, which is basically how to use really cool technology in the classroom.

Spring-Ford Area High School:

I've taught one year of Gifted Microbiology as a long term substitute, and will be starting my second year of teaching Earth Science in the 2009-2010 school year.

Other Stuff:

I'm a self-professed science geek, but Physics is a bit above me. Everyone has their weaknesses! I loved teaching so much I married another teacher. We were married July 18, 2008, and my husband teaches elementary school band in the Methacton School District.
